How much does a bridal makeup artist cost in the GTA?

Bridal and wedding makeup packages at Yash Makeovers start at $600 per person per event. This includes HD waterproof makeup, hairstyling, premium mink lashes, dupatta and jewelry setting, a touchup kit, and a consultation call. Pre-bridal events (Mehndi, Sangeet, Engagement) are $450, Full Glam is $350, and Regular Party is $250. All prices are per person per event.

How far in advance should I book my wedding makeup?

We recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May through October) when bridal and wedding makeup dates fill up fast. A 30% non-refundable deposit via e-transfer secures your date. No payment is required until we've spoken and you're ready to move forward.

Do you travel to my venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Yashpreet travels to venues across the entire GTA. Travel fees are $75 within Peel Region and up to $150 for the wider GTA. Alternatively, you're welcome to visit the studio at 27 Divinity Circle, Brampton ON L7A 3Y3.

Do you offer a trial before the wedding day?

All Bridal and Pre-Bridal packages include a consultation call 2-3 weeks prior to event date to discuss your look and review inspiration pictures. If you'd also like a full makeup trial, the fee is $250. Trials are scheduled within 2-3 business days of booking confirmation, subject to availability. If you decide not to proceed after the trial, the deposit for the main event dates is fully refundable, provided the trial is booked immediately following the booking. If the trial is scheduled at a later date, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

What makeup brands and products do you use?

Yashpreet works exclusively with professional-grade luxury brands: DIOR, Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel, YSL Beauty, Gucci, Too Faced. These formulas are chosen specifically for all-day wear through the long hours of wedding.

Do you do hair styling as well as makeup?

Yes, every package includes both makeup and hairstyling. The Bridal package includes full hairstyling with hair padding, pins, and dupatta and jewelry setting. For best results, please for the hairstyling process, please wash your hair thoroughly using shampoo only, and refrain from applying conditioner or other hair products. We recommend drying your hair straight the night before your appointment.

What events does the Bridal package cover?

The Bridal package ($600) is designed for main ceremony events: Ceremony, Reception, Nikkah, Walima, Baraat. For pre-wedding events like Rokah, Jaggo, Engagement, Mehndi, Sangeet, the Pre-Bridal package ($450) is the right fit.

Is there an extra charge for early morning appointments?

Yes, a $100 early morning fee applies for start times from 4:30 to 6:00 AM, as these require significantly earlier preparation and travel.

Yes, several add-ons are available: airbrush application ($40), client's own hair extension application ($35), studio-provided hair extensions ($75 per extension), blow-dry on wet hair ($20), bridal dupatta setting ($50), party dupatta setting ($30), jewelry setting ($20), premium mink lashes ($20), and touchup kit ($25).

What is your cancellation and deposit policy?

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Partial cancellation of a booked package is not permitted. All included services must be completed. The one exception is the trial-linked refund: if a trial is booked immediately after confirmation and you choose not to proceed, the deposit is fully refundable.
